This is the story about a man who was a suspect in a crime of carjacking. When he was stopped by police he became extremely belligerent kicking and spitting at police officers-never a good idea! Officers had to use pepper spray to get him under control.

Protestors Pepper Sprayed By NYPD

On Sunday the 25 April, 2011 nearly 100 people were arrested or ticketed at multiple locations in New York City for disorderly conduct, blocking traffic and failure to obey a lawful order by a police officer. Several of the protesters were hit with pepper spray.

Postal Employee Uses Pepper Spray In Attack

Last week a postal employee was getting out of his mail truck at about 9:55 in the morning when he was approached by a man brandishing a knife. The man was hoping to get money from the carrier but the postal employee sprayed the robber with pepper spay, jumped back into his truck and pulled away.

But the story didn’t say was that all postal employees when out on their routes carry pepper spray mostly as a first line defense against dog attacks.
